Molson Coors Canada Are Going to be Producing Weed Beverages
Authored by Derek
Molson Coors Canada are going into business with another Canadian company called Hydropothecary and plan on producing weed beer. Well, it's not really beer because it won't contain any alcohol, instead it will contain THC. Their thoughts behind this move is that it's only a matter of time before alcohol purchases go down as adults may wind up preferring marijuana over beer.
This count actually be the case now in the United States according to research done by Uconn, and Georgia State, Universities. Their research shows that for the first time, Marijuana sales have surpassed Alcohol sales in places where marijuana has been made legal such as in Colorado.
Recently cigarette maker Imperial Brands took a stake in Oxford Cannabinoid Technologies and Constellation Brands Inc., which is the manufacturer of Corona beer, recently bought a stake in Canadian pot producer Canopy Growth Corp.. Whatever could they be up to? Only time will tell.
